Or it's just ten years later actually. I cannot believe it has been ten years since I graduated high school. Ten years since my little sister was just in second grade but now graduating high school. Ten years since I never really dreamed I would marry my high school sweetheart and share the most beautiful kids ever with him. I sure felt old Thursday night as I watched Maggie graduate. It just doesn't seem like it should be here yet. We will be having our class reunion in September and I am really ready for that. The craziest part about it all is how quickly the time passes. I don't feel almost 30 and I don't feel like the past ten years have gone by so slow. I just wonder if the next ten will speed by as well...that is scary.
We raced into Greenville just in time for graduation and got to spend a little time with our family. Best of all, I got to quickly visit with my good friend Kathryn who I don't get to see very often. We got some really good photos (and yes, I am in several so I can finally reveal the more slender me). I wish Maggie all the best as she moves on to a new place in life...even if it is Starkville, MS (boo dogs).
The rest of the weekend was very laid back. Both the kids stayed in Greenville so I had a nice break. I had so many things to accomplish but only checked one thing off my list so I was not very productive at all. I watched a lot of movies (Benjamin Button is a MUST SEE!), slept late-late-late, and repainted my chandelier over the dining table and changed out the glass shades to more modern linen ones. We got a new dog a couple weeks ago so yard renovation was on the list but with the rain and Waylon working so much, it just didn't get done.
Here are a few of my favorites from the weekend....
