So I was wondering about my last week's routine and thinking my weigh-in would not be so successful. But it was! I did not do the best last week on my snacking healthy...I just didn't snack at all. And my body actually does best when I eat more. Then Friday afternoon, I headed out for my run (which all last week I did outside--goal is to jog 4 miles a day) and decided to run off my path to Mi Pueblo since Madelyn and Rachel were up there...and yes, I literally ran. Of course after getting there, I couldn't turn down eating that delicious mexican food. So where normally I eat very light on Friday nights, I ate mexican...but at least it was a salad and had grilled shrimp in it. (I did indulge in a few chips with salsa, but had no drinks...WILLPOWER) And I really have to pat myself on the back because I then ran home after dinner. I felt I needed to since the weigh-in was 12 hours away.
It was great news...a little over 2 pounds lost last week. I guess my running outside everyday saved me. I am now over 13 pounds down and proud of it!
Sidenote: The previous post said I have lost 17" when really it's only 14" I have lost... I had a misunderstanding.
The rest of the weekend was nice and relaxing since we had down pours most of the time. I snuggled up in bed for several Lifetime movies and even started a new book. I can't wait for this week since the temperatures are supposed to be very warm and sunny skies most days. Praise the Lord!!!
