I don't know how much, if any, weight I lost last week. We always go to Waylon's grandmother's for Mother's Day and off we went to Stewart. I had to skip my work out and weigh-in on Saturday morning, so I have no results. I ate terribly over the weekend so that makes me a little nervous going into this week. I know I am not a contender to win "the biggest loser" competition so I am not frantic about the compettion coming to an end. I am so satisfied with my results this far. I am down to college years weight and fitting into clothes nicely and overall, just feeling great. I am not dreading swimsuit season like I normally do!
So this week is the final week of the Biggest Loser and we end on Saturday with the
5-K run that kicks off the Hernando A'Fair. I have been running anywhere from 3 to 4 miles a day anyway, so the 3.2 miles shouldn't be too much trouble for me. And even after this week is over, the plan is to keep going as if the competition is still going on. I have enjoyed getting back into shape and still have about 10 more pounds I would like to lose.
On a final note, Mother's Day was very nice for me. Jon Walker woke me up saying "happy mother's day mommy" and he continued to say it in his sweet little voice all day long. He even began singing it to the tune of "Happy Birthday" which was cute. You never know with men, and since I knew Waylon didn't have anything for me at his grandmother's, I just figured I was going to get just the "Happy Mother's Day." I wasn't being a bad sport about it either. I am very blessed to have a happy, healthy family and they are my gifts everyday. I was pleasantly surprised though when I laid down to rest with Kennedy while the boys went to get Joey and came back with happies for me. Jon Walker picked out a beautiful bouquet of roses and Waylon served me lunch in bed...chinese food that I haven't had in about 3 months due to the diet!
I hope all you mommies out there had a fabulous day too! I love you mom and Paula!
