Underwear Obsession

Ok, I know that bloggers blog about their family happenings, milestones, and events, etc so I figured I would share the biggest news in the Hill house. Jon Walker is OFFICIALLY potty trained. Yep, you got it...only about three accidents over the past six weeks...not too bad in this mommy's opinion. We started back in the spring of '08 and obviously JW was just not ready. Finally, right before Christmas, he started showing more signs of wanting to be a "big boy" so we started training again. He got a Mickey Mouse stool and character underwear and basically trained himself. It was amazing how quickly he caught on. So, now to the obsession...he loves underwear--especially his "Cars" ones. So much that he has in his mind exactly which pair he needs to wear that day. He has complete control of the inventory of the different designs he has. And he will throw a fit if the exact pair he wants to wear is in the laundry pile or MIA for whatever reason. And to top it off, every time we go to Wal-Mart or Target, he insists on buying yet another pack of undies...just because "I NEEEEEEEDS more mommy." And what kind of mother would ever deny her child clean, fresh underwear? I will take the $5 pack of underwear vs the $20 pack of diapers anyday...so Kennedy, the pressure is on!
